He is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, Taishan Scholar Distinguished Professor, Young Scientist of the American Pancreatic Association, winner of the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and Executive Deputy Director of the Medical Research Center at the affiliated hospital. He is also the Director of the Tumor Immunology and Treatment Center and the Director of the Pancreatic Disease Subspecialty in the Department of Gastroenterology. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Pancreatic Disease Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and as an expert reviewer for projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has been dedicated to basic and translational research on pancreatic tumors, achieving significant results. He was the first to propose the concept of "regulatory T-cell-like" cells, advancing the research on the immune evasion mechanisms in pancreatic cancer and expanding strategies for personalized treatment of pancreatic cancer. In translational research, he integrates nanobiotechnology to focus on the development of nano-drugs and personalized treatment strategies. He has undertaken major research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the "Taishan Scholar" Talent Special Project, and Shandong Province's Major Basic Research Project. Over the past five years, he has published more than 50 papers related to pancreatic diseases in journals such as Gastroenterology, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, J. Exp. Med, and Nature Communications, with a total citation count of over 2000 and an H-index of 30. He has applied for 5 invention patents and independently designed and led several clinical trials. Some of his research findings have been incorporated into the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Pancreatic Cancer.

Interests:Professor Wang obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. His research mainly focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of myocardial injury and myocardial regeneration, as well as the role of non-coding RNA in the pathogenesis of major diseases. In terms of teaching, Professor Wang is dedicated to teaching biochemistry to undergraduates and courses like medical molecular biology, cell biology, and frontiers in life sciences to graduate students. In the field of scientific research, Professor Wang's achievements are particularly notable.
